Use your laptop as laptop, avoid using it as desktop
Recently we got an enquiry for a battery replacement, of their Dell Inspiron Laptop, where C P Tank, Mumbai, India based, laptop (with anonymity) user’s battery did not charge at all.
On investigation, it’s noticed, they had been using the laptop exactly like a desktop, kept the full charge everytime, which is harmful for Lithium-ion batteries.
Hence the user was encouraged to use it withuot battery, while consider replacement only when it’s to be used while changing location or being mobile.
